PLEASE READ FULL DESCRIPTION BEFORE EMAILING OR CALLING WITH QUESTIONS ABOUT THIS PET!!! Maizie is an 8yr old little Jack Russell with so much personality! Her last home got her as a puppy but after 8yrs the kids were all gone and nobody wanted to deal with a dog anymore. Maizie does well with her fosters other dogs but she would prefer to be the one and only :) Active and outgoing girl, she loves to go for walks!! Update*She does fine in my home with big dogs, and did fine in her last home with small dogs and a cat. She was raised with children, though I think she's ready to enjoy life with no small kids. She did have a bit of a bed dominance thing when I got her but I worked with her on that and hadn't been a problem since day one in my home. Her recall isn't the greatest but she's not a runner at all. I'm not sure if it's selective hearing or just hearing getting a bit dim with age. She's very calm in the house but can got for a 4 mile jog with ease ( I usually jog about a 10-11 min mile with her), but daily walks would be sufficient. She rides great in the car and loves meeting new people. She will go in garbage cans (only if they are at her level) but only steals napkins, and I've got no idea why, but she loves them. No history of going on my counters or anything crazy. She enjoys hanging out on the couch but has no problem getting off when told to.
