Oh, Daisy! You may have heard of Daisy already- she's the kind of being that Things Happen To. Daisy was shot in the face, and had to have surgeries to remove her damaged eye and the bullets. In between surgeries, she escaped her foster mom and was on the lam across Anchorage from JBER to Baxter Bog for 18 days!!! Needless to say, this little lady is a survivor and one tough cookie. Given all her experiences, Daisy is pretty nervous in new homes, and we want her new home to have a solidly fenced yard and some experience with dogs, to prevent another great escape. Daisy is very affectionate with humans she knows, and likes other dogs (she does prefer small ones and finds the big guys kind of scary). If you think you are the person who can handle this one-eyed wonder, please come meet her!

Please note: All dogs are expected to attend our next adoption event, however sometimes life gets in the way. We encourage you to attend our next event to inquire about meeting or adopting any dog listed on our site or email us to request a meeting outside of an event.
