Goldie is a 3 year old small lab mix. She has spent much of her life outside on a chain. Nowadays, she likes relaxing on couches, human beds, and dog beds. Goldie would like an active home that will get her out on adventures, but she also needs a cozy couch to curl up on afterward. She is totally potty trained and can be left loose in the house when you’re gone. Right now her only issue is that she’s pretty scared of other dogs, which is likely due to the fact that she was chained up and had to defend herself and her food in the past. Once she gets to know a dog, she’s totally fine. She can now approach other dogs and politely greet them, but she is not a fan of unruly dogs jumping all over her. She will need continued work on meeting new dogs. She isn’t aggressive at all, but she is very afraid and responds with snaps and snarls when another dog isn’t giving her enough space. She is great with humans of all ages and loves to snuggle.
