Marietta is a resilient Alaskan Husky mix who has overcome tremendous challenges in her young life. Despite enduring a harsh beginning, she embodies a gentle sweetness that shines through her shy and reserved demeanor. Chained on a short tether, barely reaching her shelter, she struggled to meet her basic needs and gave birth to puppies under harsh conditions.

Now, in the safety of a loving temporary home, Marietta is slowly learning the comforts and security that she missed out on earlier. However, her journey to recovery is ongoing, as she requires tender loving care to regain the weight she lost and to build her confidence. Despite her initial hesitance, her innate sweetness and gentle nature make her a wonderful companion for those willing to offer her patience, understanding, and unconditional love. With time and nurturing, Marietta has the potential to blossom into a loyal and cherished member of any family.
