Silvia is a young (under one year old) purebred Australian cattle dog. This sweet girl LOVES her person and will become your new shadow. Silvia came from a home where she was not well socialized so she is fearful in new situations and when she first meets new people. However, I have noticed that she is very curious and quick to overcome her fears. At home she’s a rambunctious and playful pup, but when someone comes over, she will hide for a few minutes until she has decided it’s safe to come out. She needs a home that will continue to work on her socialization. So far she has done great with other dogs and is very playful once she’s comfortable with them. She is also a great adventure buddy. She did a 10 mile hike this morning and did great! If you’re looking for an active adventure dog, silvia might be your girl. If you’re interested in meeting her, fill out an adoption application and come meet her at the adoption clinic on Sunday.
